FORUM FOR ANTHROPOSOPHY IN KENYA – GUIDELINES

Introduction

The Forum for Anthroposophy is a community dedicated to cultivating Anthroposophy and supporting Anthroposophical work. It serves as a meeting place for individuals interested in Anthroposophy and organizes a variety of study activities, conferences, and workshops related to its mission.

Membership

Membership in the Forum is open to all individuals interested in Anthroposophy. Those wishing to join the Forum should contact the secretary for further information regarding the membership process.

Forum Structure

The Forum consists of:

  1. The Forum Committee: Comprising three to five persons, this group is responsible for co-ordinating and leading the work of the Forum. The Forum Committee is self-sustaining and organizes the activities of the Forum, including calling meetings, maintaining the membership list, keeping members informed of developments, and conducting the newsletter.
  2. The Core Group: This group consists of members who carry responsibilities within Anthroposophical work. Their role in the Forum is to participate in meetings, share information, and help drive the activities of the Forum. Core group members are chosen or sent from their respective areas of work and are confirmed by the Forum Committee.

Core group members may include:

  • Members of the Forum Committee
  • Persons responsible for study work
  • Persons responsible for the Introductory Course
  • Persons responsible for Anthroposophical conferences
  • Active members of the General Anthroposophical Society

3. Members List: This includes all persons interested in Anthroposophy. Members on this list are invited to arrangements and discussions and receive the Forum’s newsletter.

Connections:

  1. The Forum operates in cooperation with the EAAWSS. The Forum has a member to maintain ongoing contact with the EAAWSS.
  2. Members from Anthroposophical-inspired initiatives keep the Forum informed about practical Anthroposophical work. Such initiatives include recognized schools, teacher training programmes, leadership courses, and biodynamic farming. Contact persons from these areas serve as liaisons to share relevant developments with the Forum.
